Shanaheever Caravan and Camping Park is ideally situated, within

In addition to the many facilities within the park, the local

Connemara National Park is in the nearby village of Letterfrack
and Clifden and the surrounding area have craft shops, art
galleries and award-winning restaurants. Many local pubs feature
live, traditional music in the evenings.
A full range of outdoor pursuits is available to suit all levels
of energy and experience - from a gentle stroll along unspoilt,
sandy beaches or a quiet day's fishing, to a challenging 18
holes of golf or an invigorating climb in the Twelve Bens.
Artists will find endless material in the elusive, ever-changing
light of the Connemara landscape and for those interested in
archaeology there are guided tours to Neolithic sites in the
area.
